1) Xyzzyplugh is Quizmaster for this quiz. tigerdragonbrand will be the Referee, with the job of adjudicating over challenges about questions, answers or the administration of the quiz; tigerdragonbrand is the also person who does the running around, cajoling, chasing, encouraging and hosting the quiz on her forum.
2) Each team is to have a name and will comprise a minimum of 3 Stumblers and a maximum of 3.
3) Each team must elect a leader, whose responsibilities will be to liaise on behalf of the team with the Quizmaster and the Referee. It is usually a good idea if all members of a team knows who is their leader. The Quizmaster must be informed of the identity of each team leader.
4) Date and Time - Refer to Pub Quiz #4:Teams Thread.
5) The questions will be posted in a specific thread in the Pub Quiz forum at the specified start time for the quiz and that thread will then be locked.
6) Each team leader will be responsible for sending the Quizmaster the answers before the close of the Quiz and for contacting the Referee on any matters needing adjudication.
They may judge it prudent to send a set of interim answers to the Quizmaster before the expiry of the Quiz, to avoid the possibility of being unable to do so later because of ISP or SU downtime.
7) The team (or teams) with the highest number of points wins (bragging rights).
8) After the end of the quiz, the answers and details of the scores will be published in an appropriate thread in the Pub Quiz forum.
9) These Rules may be changed at any time between quizzes with general agreement. |
